We offer a wide range of school experiences including part, full, or limited term contracts and  collaborate with each school in order to carefully match the skill set of the speech therapist, providing our schools with exceptional support. Client Availability and Impact on Pay

Quality

Schedule

There is plenty of room for so much flexibility as a virtual provider! Hours are documented by the provider.

Additional Work Hours

The SLP will be required to attend IEP meetings whenever the IEP team members schedule them. All hours are paid for including all IEP meetings.

PTO

PTO is not an option as this is a 1099 position, however there is a lot of flexibility with a virtual role to shift indirect hours to whenever it works for the SLP and to schedule time off as needed.  In addition, providers are not expected to attend professional development days with the school sites and can utilize that time however they choose (personal time or indirect time).

Holidays

The SLP follows the school district calendar for days off.

Caseload Cap

Yes! I work with each school district to determine an appropriate amount of students for the contract hours requested. Typically caseload caps are 40 for a full-time elementary caseload with no initial assessments.  Caseloads can go up to 45 for middle/high school if appropriate for the number of service minutes for that level. There is a lot of negotiation and collaboration ahead of time that happens with each school to make sure the workload is appropriate for the hours of the SLP. In addition, if for any reason the number of students is beyond a providers' ability to fulfill at any time, I will work with each school to determine what additional support they may need or other options they may take to keep the workload appropriate (3:1 model, help with caseload management, etc.). I will continuously advocate for manageable workloads throughout the school year to provide an excellent work-life balance.
