Description

OWL Pediatric Therapy is a therapist-owned, multidisciplinary pediatric clinic seeking a full-time CCC-SLP to join our growing team. Our clinic prioritizes evidence-based practice and a family-centered approach. We work from a strengths-based lens and believe in providing meaningful, compassionate, and highly individualized therapy. Services occur in our new clinic in Westford, MA. Our space includes a fully equipped motor-sensory gym featuring a crash pit and swing, dedicated staff workspaces, and a fully stocked therapy materials room to support high-quality clinical practice. Our clinic serves a diverse range of communication needs and severities, including speech sound disorders, language disorders, social-pragmatic challenges, fluency, early communication, and complex communication profiles. While not required, the ideal candidate will have some experience with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) or an interest in developing AAC expertise. Caseloads are thoughtfully balanced and include children with a wide range of strengths, needs, and communication styles.

Pay Rate Determiners

Compensation for the speech–language pathologist (CCC-SLP) position is determined based on a combination of clinical experience, specialized skills, and professional contribution and leadership. 

 

Clinical Experience: 

  • Lower end of the range: 0–2 years of independent practice
  • Mid-range: 3–7 years of experience
  • Higher end: 8+ years of experience, especially if paired with demonstrated specialization 

 

Special Skills Considered: 

  • Experience with AAC intervention and ability to support children with more complex communication needs
  • Strong background in literacy, social cognition, or motor-speech disorders
  • Training in specific evidence-based programs (e.g., ReST, DTTC, Hanen, LiPs, V&V)
  • Specialized training broadens the clinic’s offerings and benefits families with more complex profiles. 

 

Professional Contributions and Leadership, with higher-range salaries offered to candidates who demonstrate: 

  • Prior mentorship or supervisory experience
  • Program development, group facilitation, or curriculum design
  • Strong collaboration skills in multidisciplinary environments
  • Ability to support clinic initiatives (e.g., parent groups, staff training, community outreach)

  • We reimburse mileage on the rare occasion that a provider needs to travel.
  • Assessment and treatment materials are fully paid for by the clinic, including a wide variety of software needed (like Everyday Speech for video modeling). Staff are strongly encouraged to pursue ongoing professional development. Team members may apply for employer-supported continuing education funding, and the clinic will typically fund evidence-based trainings that align with our mission and clinical needs.
  • We cover yearly ASHA dues.

This is a 40 hour a week role. We have a high volume of after-school needs, so preference goes to applicants who can shift work day slightly later into the evening (e.g. until 6:00 or 6:30 pm).

Full-time employees receive two (2) weeks of paid vacation per year. Vacation time is accrued on a monthly basis and may be used in full-day or half-day increments with advance approval. We encourage staff to use their vacation time each year to support rest, work/life balance, and professional sustainability. Our sick time expectation is simple: If you are sick, please do not come to work. We prioritize the health and safety of our clients, families, and team members.

Paid holidays. No work on federal holidays.

Our sessions are 45 minutes long, and we book 35 sessions per week (26.25 hours of direct care).

Qualifications

Skills And Competencies
