Description
We are seeking full-time speech–language pathologists to join our multi-disciplinary team of pediatric clinicians (ST, OT, ABA) in our SLP-owned clinic. A to Z Pediatric Therapy serves clients from 1 to 18 years of age, with a variety and range of diagnoses. We strongly believe in serving the whole child, respecting and celebrating neurodiversity, and working together to help each client achieve their highest potential. Each clinician has regular opportunities for mentorship and collaboration, within and across disciplines.

Skills And Competencies
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Choose and conduct appropriate assessments in different areas of speech and language
• Write narrative reports and develop treatment plans, including appropriate goals and objectives
• Take daily SOAP notes that meet the requirements of 3rd party payers
• Write progress notes at least every 6 months and/or for transfer POCs
• Ensure the safety and well-being of the client is maintained at all times within the clinic setting, including keeping a clean and organized workspace
• Collect, analyze, and report the necessary data as dictated by the treatment plan’s objectives
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, parents and caregivers, and colleagues/outside providers
• Maintain client confidentiality at all times to ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers, team members, and clinic staff
• Provide coaching and parent/caregiver supports, when appropriate, to clients on your caseload
• Maintain the client’s electronic medical record (EMR) and clinical data collection within the clinic’s software vendor of choice

• Demonstrate adherence to all organizational policies and procedures and abide by the Ethics Code established by ASHA
• Commitment to participating in ongoing training and skill development
• Able to assume and maintain a variety of postures, such as kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing, for extended periods of time
• Able to lift at least 40–50 lbs
• Capable of responding quickly to the physical demands of a variety of treatment and clinical situations (e.g. sitting on the floor to play, in sensory gym).
EXPERIENCE:
• Highly Preferred: At least 3 years experience as an SLP; training and experience in Motor Speech Disorders; experience with integrating a variety of curricula/techniques/methodologies into individual care planning for children ages 1–18; intermediate – advanced knowledge of child development for neurotypical and neurodivergent children; experience with utilizing an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) platform

Background Check
• Experience diagnosing and treating receptive and expressive language disorders; speech sound disorders; social pragmatic communication disorders.
• Experience working with neurodivergent children
• Willingness to work with children with a variety of ages, skills, and needs - not specific to a diagnosis. (Staff are given substantial training and support for this).

Schedule
Monday through Thursday: Clinic is open 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
Friday: Clinic is open 8:00 am to 2:00 pm
Each SLP works with Admin to decide on hours that work best for caseload/serving clients needs (E.g. 9 am–5:30 pm M–TH; 8:00 am to 2:00 pm F).

PTO
PTO typically starts at an offer of 12 days/year (1 day = 8 hours). Accrues monthly. No personal/sick days - all is included in PTO. Staff requests PTO directly from owner/clinic director.
Holidays
Yes—some of them. Given that the federal holidays are currently changing and/or some are no longer observe, we close the clinic for the following holidays (i.e. New Years Day, MLK, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Day).
Productivity Requirements
We aim for clinicians to bill 30 hours/week.
Caseload Cap
This is a private practice position so it is tied to maximum billable hours per week.
