Snohomish Speech & Language
Comments from fellow SLPs:
"I feel grateful to work at Snohomish Speech and Language a clinic that truly embodies support and care. From the moment families walk through the door, they are welcomed into an encouraging and positive environment where progress, no matter how big or small, is celebrated. The team is collaborative and uplifting, always willing to share ideas, materials and support each other when needed. The clinic values connection—not just with clients, but also among staff—creating a space where everyone feels seen and inspired to do their best work. The owner prioritizes professional growth, offering mentorship and continued learning opportunities that empower therapists to expand their skills and stay inspired in their work. I was fortunate to complete my CF here and obtain my C's. I was able to learn more than ever by having standing weekly meetings for an hour with the owner. Documentation was always looked over by the owner while completing my CF which allowed for my documentation skills to greatly improve. Continued education was provided even before obtaining my C's which made me feel more confidant in working here. Overall I would highly recommend working for this clinic and the owner. It is a place to feel heard, seen, and build confidence/professionalism as an SLP." – Lily D
"I have been working here for over a year now. I started as a brand new CF and have received the most wonderful guidance and support from Jennifer (the owner). She truly values us as employees and peers and wants you to have the experience you want. From being able to choose my hours, the licensure reimbursement, continuing education support, and materials budget, this clinic is truly a unicorn. I would highly recommend this position to anyone looking to work with a diverse pediatric population with flexibility and fun." – Taylor A.
"I very happily worked at this clinic for nearly 8 years. I had lots of autonomy as well as support from the clinic owner. Overall positive experience!" – Anonymous (former staff)
"I have worked here for full time for over two years now, and also had the privilege of doing my student internship and CF year here. Jennifer is a wonderfully supportive boss and mentor. I get to choose how my schedule is structured, and Jennifer tries her best to support our clinical areas of interest by placing us with certain clients, and suggesting continuing education course for us. She brings a lot of expertise surrounding literacy, early lanaguge/communication, tongue ties, and motor speech. As clinicians, you also don't need to deal to much with insurance as Jennifer, our lovely billing lady, and our receptionist mostly handle that portion, so it is nice to only have to focus on your clients! The facility is clean and and not overstimulating, each clinician gets their own room and desk, and we have a wide variety of materials, flashcards, books, and games in each room, and to share. We also have a kitchen with a few different kinds of sensory swing, crash pad, and an outdoor balcony for those kiddos that need fresh air! The pay and benefits are fair and there is always understanding for sickness or family emergencies. The support, flexibility, and mentorship you receive here are really no match!" – Jenna P.
