Skills And Competencies
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based therapy.
Strong ability to collaborate with teachers, special educators, and other school professionals to support student success.
Knowledge of IEP development, eligibility paperwork, and compliance with state and federal special education regulations.
Skilled in progress monitoring, data collection, and adapting therapy approaches to diverse student needs.
Ability to provide therapy in individual and group settings while effectively managing a school caseload.

There are opportunities for performance-based bonuses within our company earning up to $1–3 more an hour based on company metrics.

Schedule
Clock in and out times typically range from 7:45 AM–3:45 PM but can be flexible.
Additional Work Hours
Most IEP meetings are held during the school day, but occasionally an after school meeting might last until 4:30.
PTO
Employees are given PTO to use freely as sick or personal days. They are given a lump sum once a year at their annual review. Requesting PTO is simple in our quickbooks tracking app. PTO is typically reviewed and approved in the same week as requested.
Holidays
Federal holidays are paid and will be outlined in the employee contract.

There are no caseload caps in Idaho at this time, but we will be proposing a caseload cap in our company contract to our school district this year.

Training program: Every school and employee is different. Every new employee is assigned a mentor and supervisor to stay with them as long as needed. We typically spend 1–2 months training and supporting new SLPs and approximately 1 month training seasoned SLPs.
