Description
This position is a full time opportunity for clinical work including 1:1 therapy, evaluations, caregiver coaching and potentially small group preschool. The setting is an in person pediatric clinic where you would work with other speech language pathologists and occupational therapists. Our clients are primarily between the ages of 2.5 to 12. You will be treating and evaluating primarily: speech sound disorders, early receptive and expressive language delays/disorders, use of AAC (speech generating and low tech), autistic communicators, social pragmatic communication, sensory and motor based feeding difficulties and less frequent disorders as they come up. We use a neuro-affirming philosophy and place a high value on educating caregivers and collaborating with school SLPs for continuity of care. When you join our team you get input on your schedule, client types, and preferences. You are supported by our in-house administrative assistant and SLP owner. A core value of our clinic is promoting REAL work-life balance. We treat our employees like the educated adults that they are. Our vibe is professional but friendly and supportive.

Parental Leave Policy
Although our clinic size in Nevada does not require us to offer paid time off for parental leave, we do have the following policies in place:
We follow the Nevada Pregnant Workers Fairness Act that provides reasonable accommodations to employees or applicants based on pregnancy, childbirth or related medical conditions (ex: private area for expressing/storing breast milk).
We follow FMLA guidelines for taking up to 12 weeks off (unpaid) in one year for pregnancy/parental leave.
We offer 55 hours of paid time off per parental leave at the employees actual hourly rate OR $60/hour whichever is lowest. To be eligible for paid time off the employee must have been employed for at least 7.5 months (30 weeks).
We encourage employees to use their accrued PTO.
