Description
This position provides evaluative, diagnostic, ongoing assessment, and therapeutic speech–language services for designated preschool or school aged students in schools/educational settings assigned to the therapist. This is an itinerant position that will travel to assigned schools and community locations. CFY Supervision is available, and Lincoln Intermediate Unit is an ASHA CE Provider.
Required Qualifications
State licenses: PA
CCCs required: No, but preferred
Other required qualifications:
Valid Pennsylvania Instructional Certificate in Speech and Language Impaired PK-12, or Educational Specialist Certificate for School Speech and Language Pathologist PK-12 required.
OR: If the candidate does not hold the Pennsylvania certification, a valid Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist license is required, with an understanding that the candidate must obtain the necessary PA certification within a specified time frame.
A Pennsylvania State Speech–Language Pathologist License is required if the candidate is not certified in Pennsylvania.

Schedule
The SLP is expected to work typical school hours/days, roughly 7.5 hours per day and 1950 hours per year.

At the beginning of the school year, professional staff receive 3 personal days and 10 sick days. If the candidate starts after the school year, all leave is prorated.
