Description
SLP will provide speech and language therapy to children birth through 5 years in their natural environment or in a preschool setting. You will conduct evaluations and assessments using appropriate tools and are instrumental in supporting family and teacher involvement and carryover through coaching and collaborative planning. Responsible for development and implementation of goals with families and interdisciplinary team members. As a key member of our early intervention team, you'll help children find their voice—literally and figuratively—through meaningful, individualized therapy and family-centered support!

Employer offers financial support and paid work days for continuing education. Employer provides company vehicles for travel and will provide reimbursement when company vehicles are not available.
Schedule
Work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8 am–4pm with an hour lunch. The work calendar follows a typical academic calendar year with approximately 14 work days during the summer months for a total 192 day work schedule.
Additional Work Hours
Minimal after-hours commitment for IEP meetings, community events, and community/parent trainings. These outside commitment hours can be flexed within your work week and some are paid at an additional hourly rate.
PTO
Receive 10 PTO days each July and can accrue up to 20 and still receive 10 more each year.
Holidays
There is no work on federal holidays and no payment for holidays for this salaried position.

Parental Leave Policy
Parental leave is worked out with the Special Education Director, usually allowing however much time the employee is requesting within reason. Any PTO the employee has can be used toward their leave and the rest is unpaid.
Skills And Competencies
Experience in pediatrics or early intervention preferred. Knowledge of Individual Family Service Plans and Individual Education Plans is a benefit. Must have strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members, families and community early childhood program staff.
