We are looking for an outpatient SLP that enjoys working with all ages of patients, both adults and children. We have a wonderful outpatient facility with opportunities to collaborate with OTs and PTs weekly, cotreatments and collaboration are plentiful. The SLP schedule at our facility includes four 10-hour shifts with up to 9 outpatient SLP treatment sessions/day. The perfect candidate would be flexible, go-getter, and enjoy supporting people in their community. We currently run a Parkinson Support Group and Stroke Support Group, outreach programs and ideas are encouraged. Brookings, Oregon is located in the beautiful pacific northwest, home of rocky ocean views and gorgeous greenery. Brookings is only 30–60 minutes away from some of the biggest Redwood Trees in Oregon and California. Searching for an amazing SLP, is it you?

Yes, as long as the SLP is on site and working then the hours will be paid. Pay does not change for no shows or cancellations.
Pay Rate Determiners
Pay rate is based on years of experience in the SLP field. The hourly rate of $36.58 is what a new grad would earn and the pay increases based on years of experience. This pay structure is set up by Curry Health Network's Human Resource Department.

Current SLP works Monday through Thursday, 7:30am to 6:00pm with a lunch break from 12:00–12:30pm.

Accrual per productive hour worked for a first year employee is 0.080, PTO earned for an employee in their first year of work would be approximately 166 hours.
Holidays
No, our outpatient SLP services are closed on holidays. Holidays are included in paid time off so an employee must use PTO on a holiday if they want to be paid. If the employee does have to work a holiday (unlikely in outpatient setting) then the employee is paid time and a half.
Productivity Requirements
No formal productivity requirements. Up to 9 patients are scheduled each day and when a patient discharges then a new evaluation is added.
Caseload Cap
Not necessarily, however, the most patients someone could see in this position is 36 patients in a week.

Parental Leave Policy
The employee would use paid leave Oregon, which pays for 12 weeks and OFLA provides pregnancy disability leave if the employee needs more time, that can be taken before or after birth. OFLA is unpaid.

CF details: A CF could be considered; however, we have not had one at this site before so we are hesitant to say yes.
Training program: SLPs are given 1–3 weeks to get to know the patients and learn how to do an outpatient evaluation/discharge/therapy note. SLPs are expected to be mostly independent after 1–3 weeks. Monthly collaboration with the other SLP. Weekly collaboration with OT, COTA, PT, PTA; co-treatment opportunities available.
