Client Availability and Impact on Pay
SLPs at Speak for Yourself, LLC are paid per completed session. We do our best to protect your schedule and income with a strong cancellation policy to help minimize late cancels and no-shows. If a no-show fee is charged, you’ll still be paid your regular visit rate for that appointment. If a client cancels in advance and the spot is not filled, payment is not made for that time, but our scheduling team works hard to keep your caseload full.
Pay Rate Determiners
Rate varies based on CF vs. CCC-SLP as well as bonus for set number of treatment visits seen per week. Evaluations are reimbursed at a higher set rate.

Schedule
Our office is open Monday–Friday, 8am–6pm. Therapists can work a traditional schedule or choose a 4-day, 10-hour schedule if preferred. For those providing services at ABA centers, the workday typically ends earlier, and there is greater flexibility in scheduling. We work with each therapist to create a schedule that balances client needs with your preferred working hours.
Full-time: Scheduled for 30 clinical hours (60 30-minute sessions)
Part-time: Minimum of 15 clinical hours (30 30-minute sessions)

PTO
Employees in the following employment classification(s) are eligible to earn and use PTO as described in this policy: Employees scheduled for a minimum of 25 billable hours per week.
Upon entering an eligible employment classification, employees will begin to earn PTO according to the following schedule:
Year 1: Accrue 1 hour for every 30 billable hours worked (40 hour cap).
Year 2: Accrue 1 hour for every 20 billable hours worked (80 hour cap).
Year 5: Accrue 1 hour for every 10 billable hours worked (120 hour cap).
PTO hourly rate: $50
Holidays
We are closed for most major federal holidays. These days are unpaid unless you choose to use your available PTO hours. Therapists also have the option to reschedule sessions around holiday closures if they prefer.
Productivity Requirements
We do not have strict “productivity” quotas, but our goal is to maintain a consistent and manageable caseload for each therapist. SLPs are generally expected to carry a schedule that supports both client progress and therapist work–life balance. We focus on quality of care rather than meeting a set number of billable hours, while still working together to keep your schedule as full as you’d like it to be.
Caseload Cap
We do not set hard caseload caps, but we work closely with each therapist to ensure their schedule is manageable and aligned with their preferences. Caseload size varies depending on your availability, the types of clients you see, and whether you work in the clinic, at ABA centers, or a combination of both. Our priority is to maintain a workload that supports high-quality care and a healthy work–life balance.
