Under the direction and support of the Director of Special Education, our speech–language pathologist (SLP) plays a vital role in delivering diagnostic and therapeutic services to students with speech, language, and hearing challenges. Your work will empower students to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally by developing their communication skills through targeted instruction and support. As a valued member of our educational team, you'll collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to design strategies that help students overcome communication barriers and unlock their full potential.

What You’ll Do:

• Conduct assessments and deliver individualized therapy for students with speech, language, and hearing needs
• Develop and implement IEP goals tailored to student strengths and growth areas
• Consult with classroom teachers to support communication goals in inclusive settings
• Partner with families to provide tools, progress updates, and support at home
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team

Guaranteed hours

Starting at $74,272.75 with no experience (year 1) and between 0-44 continuing education units. Max is $130,680.15 with 25 years of experience. SLP may be initially placed on the highest step of 13 at $118,999.39 when verified experienced and education.

Monday through Friday from 8:15am to 3:35pm. Our speech–language pathologists follow our teachers' schedule and work 186 days of the year.

IEP meetings, 504 meetings if necessary. Will be compensated if past CBA stated hours.

Personal/Sick Days: 10 days every school year. Rollover applicable and transferable between school districts.
