Description
We are currently seeking a Speech Therapist to join our team to provide home-based therapy services for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) between the ages of 5–20 years old. Therapist is responsible for the following:
1. Providing therapy to clients in their homes through evaluation, development and implementation of individualized goals to address functional needs
2. Monitoring and documenting client progress
3. Providing education and support to clients and their families
4. Utilizing critical thinking skills to assess and manage complex cases
5. Occasional meetings (virtual) to collaborate with other healthcare professionals on clients care team

$85–95/hr for treatment, $275/evaluation, $25 per "no show" cancellation
Informed Pay

Median Pay and Range
Currently, I have therapists receiving between $88–95/hour. I do not have any full-time therapist on case-load; however, median monthly take home is approximately $1,440 (based on about 4 hours/week at $90/hr). This varies based on caseload sizes.

Client Availability and Impact on Pay
Hours are not guaranteed in that SLP is not paid if client is not seen; however, SLP is welcome to provide make-up sessions for any time canceled by SLP or client. Make-up time can be spread over multiple sessions or occur in full (i.e. for a 60 min missed session, SLP can add additional time to future sessions until 60 minutes is reached, such as adding 15 minutes over the course of 4 sessions, or 30 minutes over the course of 2 sessions).

SpeakEasy Solutions will provide all assessment materials to therapist. Any materials that are deemed necessary will be considered for reimbursement.
Schedule
Work hours are flexible in terms of days of the week; however, start times need to be 4:00 pm and later, as clients are either in school or day programs. About 10 hours billable time per week-varies as new cases are referred; approximately 500 hours per year. Bergen and Middlesex County-location varies; current towns of need include: Fair Lawn, Perth Amboy, East Brunswick, New Brunswick.
