Full Pay Rate for All Hours Worked?
Yes, SLPs are paid for all hours worked, including meetings, documentation, treatment, evaluation, indirect work on behalf of clients (material creation), etc.
Client Availability and Impact on Pay
It is the role of RL Therapy Group to keep caseloads full. A clinician's salary is not impacted or changed based on client cancellations or company intake.
Pay Rate Determiners
This range is dependent upon experience, skill set (specifically routines based intervention and AAC) and ability to serve Spanish speaking families. Company raises are offered annually for employees, for all employees meeting company standards. RL offers many unique bonus incentives outside of salary, including bonuses for the following: productivity, clinical supervision of graduate students, presentations to team, and core values.

RL Therapy Group provides an extensive library of resources, evaluation materials and subscriptions to support therapy sessions. Full time SLPs are provided with a company iPad and licenses for AAC applications.
Schedule
Our full-time clinicians are scheduled Monday through Thursday with direct sessions and indirect blocks to support clients. With the exception of one Friday a month (used for make up appointments), the remainder of Fridays are used for documentation and meetings. Working hours are 8am to 5pm (Pacific Standard Time).

PTO
10 PTO Days (PTO can be used after first 90 days).
40 hours of sick time annual, to be accrued (1 hour per sick leave per every 8 hours worked).
Process for requesting: Time off is requested via our HR Application and approved by our Lead Scheduler. PTO is requested 2 weeks in advance. Our administrative team manages all scheduling and cancellations. Therapists are not responsible for rescheduling or cancelling their clients if they are sick or on vacation.
Holidays
Paid Holidays to include: New Years Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Floating Holiday.
Productivity Requirements
RL Therapy Group aims to create a work schedule that promotes a healthy work/life balance for our therapists. Therapists are scheduled to see clients from 8:00am–5:00pm PST Monday through Thursday each week. We schedule in one additional Friday per month (8:00am–5:00pm) that must be filled with direct OR indirect client interaction.
On a typical 4 week month; the therapist is expected to have 17 billable days. Please note that all Fridays are work days and are reserved for paperwork, administrative, and collaborative time.
One hour of therapy is equal to 1 unit. Evaluations are counted as 2 units.
On a typical 17 day month; therapists will be bonused for earning more than 110 units per month. For months that are longer than 17 working days the following unit totals must be met to earn a bonus;
Units beyond the expected goal for that month will be bonused at $75/additional unit.

Caseload Cap
We do not have a specific caseload cap, but our caseloads are naturally capped due to our limited filling of weekly schedules. Most clients are see 1x per week for 60 minutes, with additional indirect blocks added to schedules to support clients asynchronously. The majority of Fridays are kept open to complete documentation and collaboration.

Parental Leave Policy
Parent leave for this position is unpaid. The company will provide eligible employees with 20 hours of paid leave per year for employees to use for fertility treatments, prenatal medical appointments, postnatal and pediatric visits.
