Description

As a speech–language pathologist at Cole Pediatric Therapy you will:

Collaborate with a dynamic team of professionals who are just as passionate about communication as you are.

Skills And Competencies

Experience in Pediatric Speech Therapy (can be during student internships or as a CF).

Median pay rage is $72,000–$77,000.

Yes. 

Client Availability and Impact on Pay

The hours that the therapists agrees to are guaranteed each week regardless of whether their patient attends or not.

Pay Rate Determiners

Pay is based on years of experience and if have any specialty certification. Pay stays within this range. We also offer several biweekly and monthly bonuses, sign on bonuses, and a student loan repayment program that would increase their total payment compensation.

Stipends (taxed)

Annual CEU Stipend to use as you wish.

$500 annual stipend for all fully licensed therapists. Also have an additional $1000 stipend at each site that any therapist can request.

Quality

Schedule

Flexible: Traditional 5 day/8 hours OR 9-hour days & a one-half-day Friday OR 4 10-hour days.

Additional Work Hours

At least 2 evenings until 7pm.

PTO

3 weeks of PTO, no sick days, & 1 YOU Day. 

Holidays

8 paid holidays (2 Thanksgiving, 2 Christmas, New Years Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day and 4th of July) and yes we work on Federal Holidays.

Productivity Requirements

65% productivity on average in the month so 26/40 hours in direct patient care.

Caseload Cap

MAX scheduled visits/evaluations are 85% or about 34 hours/week in patient care. This with 25% cancellation rates and our automatic 1 hour blocks for evaluation write up time and no more than 3 hours at a time in patient care, should get you to the goal of 65% each week.

Dedicated Space

Yes: individual office.

Parental Leave Policy

Unpaid 3 month maternity leave. Can get Short Term Disability through Cole that pays 60% of your salary during leave

Does the Contract Include a Non-compete or Non-solicitation?

No.

Clinical Fellowship

Accepts CFs? Yes
% of SLPs in company who are CFs: Not sure of this but we typically don't do more than 1 CF at each of our 23 locations based on sueprvision.
CF supervision provided: Yes
CF details: We have a position called a Clinical Competency Specialist who provides on going support and mentorship for all our therapists.
Training program: We do a 90 day ramp up period and do not expect our CFs or any new hire to have a full caseload until the end of the 90 days.  Independent at their job by the end of their CFY.
