SongBird Pediatric Therapy is a therapist-owned clinic in Prosper, Texas, providing speech, language, and feeding therapy for children from birth to 18 years. Our mission is to empower children, support families, and connect lives through compassionate and innovative therapy.
We believe therapy should be just as engaging as it is effective. Our clinic is a warm, welcoming space filled with creativity, teamwork, and joy. We work with amazing kids—from toddlers to teens—in a setting where clinicians feel supported, heard, and valued.
We are currently seeking a pediatric speech-language pathologist to join our vibrant, collaborative team. The role includes conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and providing therapy for children with a variety of diagnoses. Family collaboration and team communication are key parts of this role.

Reimbursements (untaxed)
The therapy clinic is provided with a large variety of the latest assessments and therapy materials. The clinic also has access to a sensory gym with sensory activities such as swings and trampolines. Therapy materials are updated regularly depending on the types of patients treated. After one year of employment, a minimum of $100.00 is provided for continuing education of choice. We offer a very user-friendly EMR system that makes daily treatment notes easy to complete. We also encourage in-session documentation, if possible, to decrease paperwork time. Each therapist has a laptop and iPad in session for therapy materials and documentation purposes.
Schedule
The clinic is open Monday–Thursday, 8:00am–6:00pm. This position is for a minimum of 2 days (therapist choice) and can choose reduced daily hours of 8:30 am–5:30 pm. This position can start with a minimum of 17 hours per week to as many as 25 hours per week and increase to a full-time position as caseload grows (if desired).

Holidays
Yes. The clinic is closed for New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving Day. This clinic is closed the week between Christmas Eve and New Year's Day. Holidays are unpaid.
Productivity Requirements
No. However the clinic has a goal of 65% productivity and 80% attendance.
Caseload Cap
Yes. The clinic provides 30-minute therapy sessions and allocates 1 1/2 hours of paid paperwork during a full work day. These breaks are positioned in the mid morning, after-lunch, and mid afternoon.

CF details: CF supervisor is always onsite and available for observations, supervision, and training/support.
Training program: Therapists are given one week of 1:1 training and start with a small caseload of patients within their skill set which will grow over time. SLP will work along with other SLPs, who can be used for collaboration and growth.
