Looking for SLPs willing to provide a hybrid service delivery model and/or supervise onsite SLP-Assistants. CF accepted for hybrid positions. Client Availability and Impact on Pay
SLP works according to school calendar (specific number of days). The only days that are not paid are any school cancellations (i.e. snow days).
Pay Rate Determiners
Hybrid position will pay at higher rates due to supply/demand with districts preferring in person services.
Benefits
Currently, in lieu of benefits, contract completion bonus and/or monthly stipends are provided.
Stipends (taxed)
End/completion of contract bonus is taxable. Potential healthcare stipend would be taxable.
Reimbursements (untaxed)
Treatment and assessment materials, continuing education, licenses/ASHA dues, and travel.
Schedule
Schools across Wisconsin. Schools vary from 7-8 hour days depending on the district, about 165-175 school days per year. Contracts offer some flexibility with schedule—more for in person than hybrid/virtual hours due to necessity of district provided facilitator for speech-language sessions when virtual.
Additional Work Hours
Any hours after the school day (i.e. IEP meetings, etc.) are billed/paid in addition to your regular hours.
PTO
For full time employees there will be 5 paid PTO days available immediately. Requests made to owner/HR as soon as possible.
Holidays
No. Only days worked on the school/district calendar are paid.

Caseload Cap
Not yet. Wisconsin has been fortunate to have reasonable caseloads/workloads across the state thus far (40ish for full time). I have been successful with negotiating with current districts as needed for solutions such as additional paid testing/report writing time and/or 3:1 service delivery adjustments.

Yes. The districts will have a non-solicitation agreement with a buyout option based on years length of contract/service.

Training program: As the Owner/Operator with 30 years experience as an SLP across states and supervision experience with both CFs and SLP-Assistants, I would be the onsite supervisor. I also have/provide access to additional coursework and SLP mentors as needed.
