Description
We are an SLP owned company, seeking a full time SLP who has a drive to do exceptional therapy, brings support and positivity to our team, and leverages strong communication and problem-solving skills in daily tasks. This role will be primarily clinic based with likely one to two mornings at a nearby daycare. The ideal candidate for this role is confident in the basics and has an eagerness to expand their knowledge beyond the basics and develop expertise in one or more areas.
Skills And Competencies
Candidates with experience treating children with complex communication needs and/or pediatric feeding may take advantage. Additional training in these areas may be provided as well.

Our SLPs on average make $63,500 per year with productivity bonuses.
Full Pay Rate for All Hours Worked?
Base pay does not change due to client availability or overall caseload. Bonus pay potential can be affected if the caseload is not full.
Pay Rate Determiners
Salaries will be determined based on years of experience in a related populations, expertise in specific needed domains, and level of supervision required. The lower end of this range would include a CF who has not had a full time placement in outpatient pediatric population. On the higher end of this range may be an SLP with 6+ years of experience, has extensive experience with specialized populations (i.e. bilingual, feeding, adults, etc.) and is taking on other roles such as supervising students or CFs. Salary growth is determined at the annual review based on performance and responsibilities.
The pay rate listed is for base yearly pay. In addition, there is opportunity to earn more with bonus structure for consistently higher productivity. This is paid for each visit over 60 per two-week pay period.

Reimbursement for NC License fees, mileage between work locations. Employer pays CEUs, up to $500/year.
Schedule
Standard hours for this role are 8am–6pm, Monday–Thursday. The SLP should regularly be available to schedule during these times. Clocking in/out is not required. If SLP does not have scheduled visit and is current with required clinical documentation, there is flexibility in being on or off site. Other flexibility in scheduling needs will be considered on a case by case basis.

PTO
Starting employees accrue 12 days (96 hours) of PTO per year per pay period (3.69 hrs/2weeks). Simply notify the owner when you plan to take PTO. Employees may carryover unused leave each year (capped) and will be paid out the remainder. PTO rate increases at 5th and 10th year anniversaries with the company.
Holidays
Paid holidays include: Memorial day, July 4th, Labor day, 2 days for Thanksgiving, days between Christmas Eve and New Years. Plus, 4 additional float days to be used at employees discretion. Approximately 16 total days/year.
Productivity Requirements
There are no minimum visits for productivity. Our targeted productivity is 35–38 visits per week (typical session length 30 minutes), which is approximately 50% of the 40 hour work week.
Additionally, bonus pay is calculated each biweekly pay period and will be paid for each visit over 60 in a pay period (roughly 30 visits/week).
Caseload Cap
No. SLPs meeting productivity minimums can discuss their preferred upper limit of their caseload with the clinical director. Higher productivity is compensated based on the SLPs preferred workload.

CF supervision provided: Yes
CF details: We ask CFs to commit an additional 9 months at our practice after the CF is completed (18mos total). We currently have 4 staff who completed their CF with us and stayed beyond that, and have been with us between 3–6 years.
Training program: We provide support well exceeding the CF supervision minimums and acknowledge the additional time and resources needed for learning to be an excellent SLP. On site direct observation by CF supervisor ~8+ hours/month initially, with potential for more if needed and fading throughout the CF duration. Supervisor has scheduling flexibility to be more immediately available for guidance and questions as needed. Additional opportunities for mentorship built into scheduling expectations include observing other SLPs, co-treating with more experienced SLPs on tricky cases, and scheduled or informal discussion opportunities. CFs may also request formal paid CEUs as needed for their caseload.
