Do you have a passion for providing quality care? Patheous Health is currently searching for a part-time FEES Competent speech–language pathologist to join our team in the Tallahassee area. The candidate must have a great interest working with individuals with dysphagia, particularly with the geriatric population.
The speech–language pathologist will be responsible for administering FEES in a mobile setting to evaluate and diagnose swallowing dysfunction on individuals who have been identified with signs and symptoms of aspiration; interpret and report findings with functional, clinical, and behavioral diagnostic data test results for patients, referring speech–language pathologist, and medical providers; provide appropriate diet and treatment recommendations.
Do you enjoy being a road warrior? Seeing cities and towns within a 2.5–3 hour radius of your home “region” should be expected. Daily travel hours count as part of your work day. Open to speaking with candidates in the Warner Robins, Macon, Panama City, Tallahassee, or Valdosta areas!

If caseload is low, the employee may have a shorter shorter work week. Expect 16–24 hours/week.

PTO
PTO for part-time employees is accrued by hours worked. Approximately 0.058 PTO hours are earner for every hour worked. Hourly employees accrue per hour worked, up to 15 days for 1st year-5th year.
Holidays
Part-time SLPs receive hourly pay if a scheduled work day. We have 7 paid holidays; some federal holidays are worked.
Caseload Cap
Typically 3-6 studies/patients per day.

Parental Leave Policy
Parental leave would cover what the Part-time SLP would normally work per week up to 6 weeks. Parental and Birth Related leave is available to full-time or part-time Employees who have been employed for six (6) months. During Parental or Birth-related leave, your compensation may not exceed your active status compensation (the paid leave can't exceed what the employee would work/make in salary in a week).
