Description

The Clinical Director will serve as a leader and mentor within our dynamic clinical team. This role includes a reduced direct treatment caseload, allowing time for evaluations, clinical supervision, and support of SLPAs, Clinical Fellows, fellow SLPs and graduate students. The ideal candidate is a leader and seasoned clinician who is passionate about guiding others, ensuring clinical excellence, and helping shape the direction of our services.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise Clinical Fellows and Speech-Language Pathology Assistant 
  • Assist in refining policies, procedures, and clinical standards
  • Conduct speech-language evaluations and treatment
  • Provide leadership, clinical oversight, mentorship, and professional development support to the team
  • Collaborate with administrative and clinical staff to ensure high-quality, ethical, and efficient care delivery
  • Lead regular clinical team meetings and support practice implementation
  • Assist in refining policies, procedures, and clinical standards across the practice
  • Participate in performance reviews, goal setting, and continuing education planning for team members

Quality

Schedule

Monday through Friday working either 10–6, 3 days a week and 8–5, 2 days a week OR 9–6 for 5 days. 

Additional Work Hours

Schedule may occasionally need to be flexible due to the requirements in leadership.

PTO

Accrue 2 weeks per year from 0–4 years with the company.  Once working for us 5 years, accrue 3 weeks.

Holidays

Paid holidays (up to 10 per year) if they fall on a work day

Productivity Requirements

Reduced direct therapy time to allow for leadership and supervision of SLPAs/CF.

Qualifications

Skills And Competencies

  • Past leadership roles is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience in private practice or outpatient settings preferred.
  • Knowledge of insurance billing and documentation practices is a plus.
  • Dedication to providing culturally competent and client-centered care
