Description
Tandem Pediatric Therapies is a community based pediatric speech therapy practice providing services in homes, schools, and other relevant community settings. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. In this role, you will work primarily with early intervention patients to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders. You will play a crucial role in enhancing communication skills and improving the quality of life for your patients through tailored therapy programs.

No.
Pay is for direct service time (including point of service documentation), with higher pay rate for evaluations. Client no shows are paid. Advance cancellations and other indirect duties unpaid.
Client Availability and Impact on Pay
SLP is only paid for direct service and client no-shows. Client and/or therapist cancellations are not paid.
Pay Rate Determiners
The pay rate per treatment session is dependent on the session duration (30 mins, 45 mins, 60 mins) and timeliness of documentation completion. The longer the session, the higher the pay rate per visit. Evaluations are paid at a higher rate ($135/evaluation).

Schedule
Therapists choose their own hours and can opt to work part-time or full-time hours. However, hours are dependent on client availability. Clients typical want sessions Monday–Friday between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm. Very few clients want weekend session hours.

Skills And Competencies
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
- Implement evidence-based speech therapy techniques and interventions.
- Provide early intervention services to support children with developmental delays.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families about speech disorders and strategies for improvement.
- Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in speech therapy practices.
Required Qualifications
State licenses: Tennessee
CCCs required: Yes
Other required qualifications:
- Experience in early intervention or school settings is preferred.
- Strong patient assessment skills with the ability to develop effective treatment plans.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
- A compassionate approach to patient care with a commitment to improving lives through therapy.
- Pass a TN Background Check
- Professional Liability Insurance
- Experience with documentation platforms such as Simple Practice, Zoom, and Google Suite is preferred but not required
