Description
We are hiring a dedicated SLP/Feeding Therapist.
At Seattle Therapy – Skills for Life® we are committed to excellence in pediatric therapy. We currently offer feeding therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language therapy, groups, and parent support.
In our 11,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility, our therapists have built-in preparation and documentation time, allowing them to focus on each client and their wraparound care. Our wraparound model of care and ongoing collaboration leads to better outcomes for children and families, especially when coupled with the experience, energy, and inspiration of the Seattle Therapy - Skills for Life team. As an SLP/feeding specialist, you’ll provide therapy services to improve mealtimes. In collaboration with our feeding team, you will work closely with patients in the clinic as well as in natural environments such as home, school, or community settings, delivering personalized care. Our SLP/Feeding Therapy positions tend to be ~50/50 in terms of providing feeding services and SLP services.

Pay Rate Determiners
5-9 years of pediatric experience with feeding specialization will be considered at the upper pay range. The pay may be higher that what's listed if a qualified applicant has 10+ years of experience in pediatric feeding.

Our clinic provides all assessment and treatment materials including a wide range of customized shopping lists for feeding therapy.
Schedule
We are open 7:30am–6pm. Staff schedules tend to be 8-hour or 10-hour days. Part-time options are available.
Primarily in-person at the clinic and occasional home, school-based, community or virtual settings.
Additional Work Hours
Not unless the SLP wanted to attend an after hour meeting for a client. In this case, the work schedule could be shifted to accommodate the change.
PTO
PTO accrues per hour worked at up to 150 hours per year for full-time employment.
Holidays
We have several clinic closures for holidays. Employees have the option of using PTO or taking the clinic closures unpaid.
Productivity Requirements
70% minimum for an all clinical caseload

Therapists typically have caseloads that average 70–75% per month.
