Yes
Client Availability and Impact on Pay
Weekly pay is based on school being in session and we are looking at working days/breaks when considering the weeks/hours for this role. If there is a bad weather day—the SLP may not be paid for services that day (though the client has allowed for work from home report writing in the past, but this is not guaranteed). When school is on break, SLPs are not paid unless approved to log hours over the break from their supervisor.
Pay Rate Determiners
Other factors that can affect the above pay scale is opting into our student loan repayment plan where we can pay up to $437.40 (before taxes) directly to student loan vendors for private/public loans (this causes a $2 difference in pay), or opting into our health insurance. Another factor to consider on pay ranges is we also do travel plans and provide tax-free travel stipends, those would include a lower taxable hourly and high tax-free stipend so there is more income in your pocket per paycheck to pay for housing and meals.
Benefits
At NRC, we believe in investing in our team. That's why we offer a comprehensive and industry-leading benefits package designed to support your financial, physical, and professional well-being:
Stipends (taxed)
Travel Perks & Professional Growth (For Travel Roles): If your role involves travel, take advantage of weekly stipends for Meals and Housing, making your assignments more comfortable and affordable.
Reimbursements (untaxed)
National Recruiting Consultants will cover up to $275 in reimbursements for your ASHA license renewal (if prices go up, we will cover with receipts). In addition, if you are transferring your license to Colorado, we will reimburse any costs in your license application to help you get started in the state.
If you are wanting to relocate to Colorado, we will provide a reimbursement allowance towards moving expenses to help with the financial burden of moving.
If you are a returning employee after one year of full-time work - National Recruiting will provide a reimbursement allowance of up to $500 for CEUs, conferences, supplies, or more!
Schedule
Speech–language pathologist are expected to work full-time (37.5 hours a week, with a 30 minute unpaid lunch) Monday–Friday. The school schedule is still being completed and depending on the campus, but typically they can be flexible on in/out times during the week.
Additional Work Hours
If any after hour commitments are expected outside of the 37.5-hour schedule, we will request overtime to be paid or not have the SLP attend.
PTO
Full-Time and Part-Time employees accrue 1 hour for every 30 hours worked of paid time off. Our PTO schedule runs from August - July. If you are a returning employee, you can rollover up to 37 hours of PTO after August 1st. All PTO must be requested via our system called PayCor and the recruiter and onsite supervisor must be made aware of any expected PTO.
Holidays
Schools are closed on most holidays and the SLPs are not expected to work. If they have any work that needs to be finished, they can request hours on that day from their onsite supervisor but should not work any hours that are unapproved when school is not in session.
Productivity Requirements
This client has not set any expectations at this time.
National Recruiting does have an expectation that if an SLP starts a test they must provide the finished report before completing the assignment to make sure anything started and paid upon is completed to the client.
Caseload Cap
Colorado does not have a caseload cap for services, however, we want to make sure the caseload and productivity is feasible within a 37.5 hour week. If our employee starts to fall behind or is feeling stressed, we will step in an advocate for a change in caseload to ensure the SLP can complete all items within a timely manner.
Dedicated Space
Unknown.
Parental Leave Policy
Not paid.
Does the Contract Include a Non-compete or Non-solicitation?
Yes: employees must commit 1 full school year to National Recruiting Consultants prior to going to work directly with the school district.
