Full Pay Rate for All Hours Worked?

Yes

Client Availability and Impact on Pay

This is a salaried position, and the listed hours are guaranteed. The SLP will be paid consistently regardless of cancellations or fluctuating caseload. While maintaining a full caseload is encouraged for clinical impact and productivity, therapists are not financially penalized for client absences.

We prioritize a balanced workload and offer ongoing support to ensure schedules remain as consistent and full as possible. In the event of cancellations, therapists are encouraged to use the time for documentation, collaboration, training, or clinical development.

Pay Rate Determiners

Yes, the listed pay range accounts for variations in experience, expertise, and responsibilities.

The lower end of the range is intended for newer clinicians (including Clinical Fellows) who may require additional mentorship and training.

The higher end of the range is reserved for experienced SLPs who bring advanced clinical skills, are willing to supervise a Clinical Fellow (CF), and/or take on leadership or specialty roles within the clinic (e.g., department lead, community engagement coordinator, feeding team, etc.).

We value growth and internal promotion, and compensation can increase based on performance, contribution to clinic culture, and added responsibilities over time.

Benefits

We offer a comprehensive benefits package to support your well-being and career growth:

  • Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance: 50% employer-paid United HealthCare group plan. Coverage begins within the first 30 days of employment.
  • Retirement Matching: 401(k) with up to 3% employer match, available from day one of employment.
  • Professional Growth: Access to in-house mentorship, internal training programs, and leadership development tracks.

All benefits are in addition to the quoted salary unless otherwise specified, and are designed to help you thrive both personally and professionally.

Reimbursements (untaxed)

We offer the following reimbursements and stipends to support our SLPs:

  • Monthly Materials Budget: Each month, our Speech Department collaborates to create a wishlist of therapy tools and assessment materials. The clinic allocates a dedicated budget to fulfill these requests, ensuring you have the resources you need without using your own funds.
  • Continuing Education: Up to $300 per year in CEU reimbursement to support your professional development and licensure requirements.

We are committed to equipping our SLPs with everything they need to provide exceptional care.

Quality

Schedule

We pride ourselves on offering flexible scheduling to support work–life balance. While we generally operate Monday through Friday, we are open to tailoring your schedule based on your availability and preferences. Whether you're looking for full-time or part-time hours, we’ll work with you to build a consistent caseload on the days and times that align with your needs.

There are no strict clock-in or clock-out times for hourly therapists—you'll have the autonomy to shape your workday within the clinic’s open hours, as long as it supports your clients and caseload. However, for salaried team members, we do expect presence in the clinic during their determined working hours to support collaboration, communication, and team engagement.

Ideal candidates will have some availability in the late afternoon hours to accommodate school-aged children, but this is not a requirement.

We believe that flexibility fosters happiness—and happy therapists create the best outcomes for kids and families.

PTO

We offer generous PTO that increases with longevity at our clinic:

Year 1: 80 hours of PTO, plus 1 floating holiday and 6 paid holidays

Year 2: 120 hours of PTO, plus 1 floating holiday and 6 paid holidays

Year 3+: 160 hours of PTO, plus 1 floating holiday and 6 paid holidays

PTO is accrued biweekly and can be used for personal, vacation, or sick days. We encourage our team to prioritize rest and well-being, and our leadership team supports taking time off when needed.

Therapists request PTO via our clinic's internal scheduling system, with as much notice as possible to ensure coverage and continuity of care for clients. Emergencies or sick days can always be communicated directly with a supervisor.

Our goal is to create a culture that values work-life balance and ensures every team member has time to recharge.

Holidays

SLPs are not expected to work on federal holidays. We offer 6 paid holidays per year for full time employees, which include: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day (4th of July), Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day

Productivity Requirements

info

Yes, we do have productivity requirements in place to ensure both quality care and efficient scheduling.

Our productivity expectations fall between 70–80%, which typically equates to 28–32 billable hours per week for a full-time therapist. We provide administrative time for documentation, collaboration, and planning, and support therapists in maintaining balanced caseloads that align with their strengths and clinical interests.

Productivity is tracked weekly, and our leadership team works closely with clinicians to ensure expectations are clear, achievable, and supported through mentorship, scheduling support, and ongoing training.

Caseload cap: Yes, we have clear caseload caps in place to promote work-life balance and protect clinical quality.

We do not expect any therapist to exceed 32 billable hours per week. If a clinician does reach or exceed that number, we encourage them to add administrative blocks to their schedule to allow time for documentation, planning, and collaboration.

This ensures our therapists have the time they need to deliver thoughtful, individualized care without burnout. We believe in sustainable caseloads that allow our team to thrive both personally and professionally.

Dedicated Space

Yes: individual office

Parental Leave Policy

We offer parental leave through Colorado’s FAMLI (Family and Medical Leave Insurance) program, which provides partial wage replacement for eligible employees during qualifying family leave, including the birth or adoption of a child.

Team members can also use any accrued PTO to supplement their income during this time. While we do not offer separate paid parental leave through the clinic at this time, we fully support the use of FAMLI and will assist with navigating the application process to ensure a smooth transition.

At Fyzical Therapy, we take our commitment to Clinical Fellows seriously and are proud to offer a structured, high-support CF experience that prioritizes growth, confidence, and long-term success. Here's what sets our CF training apart:

  • Assigned Supervisor with ASHA certification and mentorship experience
  • Weekly supervision meetings during the initial months, with gradual tapering as independence grows
  • Observation and co-treatment opportunities to build skill and confidence across a variety of pediatric needs
  • Collaborative, multidisciplinary team with OTs, PTs, and experienced SLPs for holistic care and peer learning
  • Access to materials, resources, and continuing education, including a monthly budget for department needs
  • Focus on clinical skill building and professional development, with clear growth paths after the CF year

We’re passionate about mentoring the next generation of SLPs and ensuring your CF year is both meaningful and empowering.

Training program: Our training program is designed to ensure all new SLPs feel confident and supported as they transition into their role. Here's what to expect:

Week 1: Full observation of therapy sessions, evaluations, and clinic operations. This allows time to shadow experienced therapists, learn our documentation system, and understand clinic flow.

Week 2: Begin treating a 50% caseload, with continued support, mentorship, and co-treating as needed.

Week 3: Increase to 70% caseload, with a goal of reaching full independence by the end of the third week.

We tailor the pace based on each clinician’s comfort level and experience. Ongoing mentorship and department support are always available beyond this initial training period.
