Pay Rate Determiners
The following are used to determine pay:
Benefits
Part-time and full-time employees are eligible for health, dental and vision benefits. Emmé Therapy Service will pay up to $180.00 monthly toward the cost of an employee’s benefits plan. Emmé writes annual grants to provide training to its providers.

Additional Work Hours
For 2025, there is a feeding training listed above that will be 2 hours monthly Jan–June.
PTO
Emmé Therapy Services will provide 1 hour of accrued, paid leave per 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours per year. Providers also have access to the Colorado FAMLI program which ensures all Colorado workers have access to paid leave in order to take care of themselves or their family during life circumstances that pull them away from their jobs.
Providers are given a great deal of autonomy over their schedules. If a provider wishes flex their schedule frequently (i.e. skiing long weekends every winter), the provider is responsible for rescheduling visits. This allows providers a more consistent income and does not create a gap in services for the client.
If a provider wishes to take more than 1 week off within a 30 day time period, contact admin at least 1 month in advance to coordinate a substitute service provider.
In general, the employee must give the employer at least 30 days advance notice of the need to take leave when he or she knows about the need for the leave in advance and it is possible and practical to do so.
When the need for leave is unexpected, the employee must provide notice to the employer as soon as possible and practical.
If a provider does not have PTO accrued, leave will be unpaid.
Holidays
No, this job is autonomous. If the SLP wishes to work on a federal holiday, and families wish to have visits, they can meet. If the provider wishes to have the federal holiday off, they can take unpaid time or use PTO.
