Description

We are in search of an SLP to join our values-driven, family-centered private practice in Los Angeles. We serve children in-home and in-school across neighborhoods like Beverly Hills, Culver City, Mid-City, Koreatown and Santa Monica.

This isn’t just any SLP job — it’s a mission-driven opportunity to empower minimally- and non-speaking children through AAC and neurodiversity-affirming practices. We believe communication is a human right, therapy should spark joy, and SLPs deserve support, inspiration, and fulfillment.

We’re looking for clinicians who are passionate about helping every child find their voice, excited to grow their AAC skills, and committed to collaborative, family-centered care. If you thrive on connection, creativity, and purpose — and secretly nerd out over accessibility and ed tech — we’d love to meet you!

*Offering up to $5000 in relocation expenses for those willing to relocate!

Skills And Competencies

Mission-Driven: You’re here because you believe in helping every child find their voice.

AAC-Passionate (or curious!):  Whether you’re AAC-savvy or just getting started, you’re eager to build your confidence and skills.

Heart-Led & Family-Centered: You understand that meaningful therapy transforms not just the child, but the whole family dynamic.

Growth-Oriented: You welcome coaching, love learning, and want to thrive in a collaborative, supportive team.

Flexible & Tech-Comfortable: You’re confident using digital tools and open to experimenting with new ones to support your clients.

Coaching – You value supporting communication partners and know that coaching caregivers, teachers, and teams is just as important as direct therapy.

Median Pay and Range

This is a little bit variable year to year because of bonuses but median salary is $98,000;

range is $90,000–$110,000.

Full Pay Rate for All Hours Worked?

Yes for full-time.

Client Availability and Impact on Pay

Full-time salaried SLPs get paid their salary and cancellations do not impact their pay at all. Clinicians are responsible for attempting to provide makeup sessions when there are cancellations and all makeup sessions completed are tracked and count towards a twice per/year productivity bonus added onto their base salary.

Pay Rate Determiners

Clinicians who have less AAC experience (and overall clinical experience) could fall on the lower end of the range, and clinicians with more experience on the higher range. The pay is dictated by how much initial and ongoing mentorship and support the clinician needs!

Benefits

Full time SLPs receive benefits, which include:

  • $350 tax-free health insurance stipend
  • Annual Commuter Benefit (Audible, Spotify premium, etc.)
  • Annual Mental Health Benefit (Headspace, Calm, Insight Timer, etc.)

Stipends (taxed)

We offer twice a year bonuses based on productivity and how the practice is doing overall (could be upwards of $8,000 to $10,000 or more per year).

Reimbursements (untaxed)

  • Annual CEU reimbursement $350/year
  • Monthly mileage reimbursement
  • Any treatment materials (toys, art supplies etc.) that needed that are approved are reimbursed

Quality

Schedule

The schedule is quite flexible. Most of our team works Monday–Friday but would also be open to someone working weekends as we would likely have a lot of interest. Full-time SLPs are expected to work 40 hours a week but as long as we can fill the schedule then the daytime hours are very flexible as well.

Additional Work Hours

None! We care about work-life balance.

PTO

  • 2 weeks PTO per year, requested and approved by Rachel (owner)
  • 7 sick days that rollover year to year
  • The week between Christmas and New Years the practice is usually closed and our team has off
  • If all vacation time has been exhausted, unpaid time can be requested as well

Holidays

All 12 major holidays are off and paid.

Productivity Requirements

info

It depends on the schedule. For example, more drive time means less clinical hours. Minimum of 25 treatment hours scheduled per week; maximum of 30.

Caseload Cap

Our caseloads are incredibly small! Usually 20 clients or less.

Dedicated Space

No: work from home

Parental Leave Policy

Must have worked for the company for at least one year and then eligible for up to 12 weeks of unpaid, job-protected leave.

Other

Does the Contract Include a Non-compete or Non-solicitation?

No

Clinical Fellowship

We are open to hiring CFs, even though we don't have any right now. For any clinician (not just a CF), there is a high level of training and mentorship by the owner (Rachel Madel).
