Description
Therapitas is looking for passionate, patient, and mission-centric pediatric CF/SLPs who are ready to serve our patients and help deliver the best quality of care available to our Spanish-speaking community.
This position is for a bilingual (Spanish-English) CF or SLP.
Not bilingual? No problem. Paid Spanish Immersion Program (SIP) is offered in-person and/or virtually. For in-person, we have partnered with a school and host families in the beautiful town of Antigua, Guatemala to provide the best and safest opportunity to learn and develop Spanish.

Client Availability and Impact on Pay
Client cancellations will impact pay, but we work hard to prevent this (see above, under "Full Pay Rate").
Pay Rate Determiners
Pay is higher as production (number of 30-minute sessions/wk) is higher.
$62,000/annually for 55 production points for bilingual CF or 1-2 years experience.
$73,500/annually for 55 production points for bilingual SLP with 5+ years experience.
Quarterly production bonuses also paid out if you exceed your established production goal.

Schedule
The clinic schedules clients between 9 am and 6 pm Monday through Thursday, and 9 am to 5 pm Friday.
CFs and SLPs are expected to be available in the clinic for 20% above their target production rate in order to adjust for anticipated cancellations and added make-ups.
Additional Work Hours
Weekly staff or discipline meeting during the work day.
PTO
Up to two work weeks of PTO annually. 8 paid holidays annually. Up to one work week of paid sick leave annually. Leave increases with number of years of Therapitas employment.

Yes. For a period of twenty-four (24) months after the end of employment, person shall not, directly or indirectly, actively or inactively, solicit employees or established patients.

CF supervision provided: Yes
Training program: We dedicate the initial 2 weeks to training in assessment and treatment of bilingual speakers, observing your team members as they conduct assessments and treatment, learning how to use our EMR system, and starting to meet your future patients. We will pair you with a dedicated supervisor who will mentor you throughout your CF year and teach you how to conduct bilingual evaluations and apply concepts in bilingualism for appropriate diagnosis and treatment plans. We also have a Director of Speech Therapy whose responsibility is to support all of our SLPs clinically.
