We are seeking passionate, licensed speech–language pathologists and clinical fellows to join our supportive and experienced team at Alena Mahas SLP, PC. This role involves providing speech therapy services to students in NYC Department of Education schools, including public and private placements. You’ll have the opportunity to work with diverse caseloads and make a meaningful impact on students' communication development.

Median Pay and Range
We offer a fixed rate of $110 per hour for licensed speech-language pathologists and $95 per hour for clinical fellows.
For full-time work, based on a 180-day school year with 6 hours per day, a licensed SLP would earn approximately $118,800 annually, while a clinical fellow would earn approximately $102,600 annually.

Hours are not fixed, and the schedule is flexible based on student availability and provider preferences. While hours are not guaranteed, we do our best to match providers with consistent caseloads when possible.

Monday–Friday. Approximately 30 hours per week for full time employment during typical school hours.

Productivity Requirements
We do not have strict productivity requirements. However, we expect our SLPs to deliver all mandated services according to students’ IEPs and maintain accurate documentation. Caseloads are designed to be manageable, and schedules are built with input from the therapist to support a healthy work-life balance.
Caseload Cap
Yes, we aim to maintain reasonable caseload caps. While there is no strict numerical limit, we ensure that each provider’s caseload is manageable based on their availability, setting (in-person), and student needs. Our goal is to support quality service delivery without overwhelming our therapists.
