Description
We are looking for a full-time speech–language pathologist to join our team! We are a multidisciplinary private practice providing speech, occupational, and physical therapy services to the children of Wilkes and surrounding counties. We exist to highlight the abilities of all children and help them see success in their lives. This is accomplished with an "I Can" attitude in a kid-friendly environment using rehabilitative and support services. Our office includes dedicated spaces for all therapists as well as 3 gyms and additional open treatment spaces. We believe in maintaining work-life balance which is why we have four day workweeks Monday thru Thursday.

Client Availability and Impact on Pay
Therapist will have guaranteed hours 8:30 am–6:00 pm with one hour unpaid lunch break Monday through Thursday. Therapist are paid regardless of client's attendance.

Pay rate is determined by years of experience, certifications, qualifications, and skills/abilities.
Benefits
Health insurance is offered. "I Can" pays 50% of monthly premium for team members.
Reimbursements (untaxed)
$300 of continuing education reimbursement per year.
Schedule
Hours are from 8:30am to 6:00pm Monday through Thursday. We are closed on Fridays.
Additional Work Hours
There are no expectations to work outside of clinic hours.
PTO
We offer 2 weeks paid vacation time. Planned time off is to be requested at least 2 weeks prior.
Holidays
We offer 10 paid holidays a year which typically include 4 days at Christmas, 2 days at Thanksgiving, and Easter Monday. Admin will notify staff of paid holidays for the upcoming year in December.
Productivity Requirements
Treatment notes should be completed within 48 hours of the visit. Evaluations are expected to be completed and submitted to team lead within one week of the evaluation. Team lead provides a list each month of due dates for treatment plans, insurance re-authorizations, and doctors orders.
Caseload Cap
SLPs are expected to see up to 12 clients per day.

We are partnered with Aflac to provide supplemental insurance including short-term disability. Staff may sign up and utilize coverage to reimburse for time off for parental leave.

CF details: CFs will have a dedicated hour each week with their CF supervisor to discuss cases and ask questions.
Training program: New hires will receive training from our Lead SLP on utilizing our EMR system and clinical procedures. An employee handbook is also provided. Each therapist has a weekly individual meeting for 30 minutes with the Lead SLP to discuss issues or address questions. We also have a weekly speech team meeting that provides an opportunity to discuss cases or problem-solve as a team. Lead SLP is also available outside of meeting times for any questions or concerns.
