Chatting Children Speech and Language Center is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team as a contractor. This role is perfect for a dedicated professional who loves working with children and creating a fun, engaging therapy environment. As an SLP at our center, you will provide individualized speech and language therapy to a diverse pediatric population, using play-based and interactive approaches to support communication development. You will collaborate with families to encourage skill carryover at home, maintain accurate documentation, and work both independently and as part of a supportive team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children in clinical or school-based settings. We are looking for someone with strong communication skills, creativity, and a fun, energetic approach to therapy. The SLP is paid when they treat the client but we have a strict 24 hour cancellation policy so the therapist is paid their full hourly rate if the family is billed for no show or late cancellation. 

Experience in the field determines the pay rate. 1–2 years experience (post fellowship) earns $55–$60 per 50 minute session and 15+ years of experience can earn between $75–80 per 50 minute session.

The schedule is flexible, however, you must commit to two full afternoons per week (2:30 pm–6pm). 10 hours a week with option to increase up to 20+. Work location: 20604 Gordon Park Square, Suite 190, Ashburn, VA 20148

You will be compensated at your hourly rate for meetings with other professionals as needed. Additionally, any phone conferences with families or professionals lasting more than 15 minutes will also be paid.
