Description

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech therapy sessions and evaluations for a diverse pediatric population
  • Diagnose and develop care plans for clients with the support of Expressable tools and resources, with a focus on clinical outcomes, client/caregiver buy-in, and education.
  • Complete all documentation in accordance with our quality and timeliness standards.
  • Fulfill all required training, client communications, screenings, licensing and credentialing tasks, and internal communications in a timely manner.
  • Provide PTO and sick coverage for sessions and evaluations for care continuity
  • Pursue ongoing professional development through Expressable resources, mentorship, and monthly Grand Rounds with fellow clinicians and clinical leaders.

Median Pay and Range

This is a full-time, exempt, W2-salaried position. The base salary ranges from $82,500 to $99,500. The role also includes a performance-based bonus opportunity ranging from $10,000 to $32,000, bringing the total compensation potential to $92,500–$131,500.

 

For salaried roles, the pay changes if you're choosing 36 hours of availability instead of 40 hours of availability. This job post is built assuming 40 hours.

Pay Rate Determiners

Base salaries are based on years of experience and cost of living location, as well as the ability to treat bilingually in Spanish, ASL, or Mandarin if in CA.

We offer scheduling selections to meet the varied needs of the SLP. Salaried full-time employees choose from either base at 36 total hours or 40 total hours of availability. The following are shedule options with bonus potential:

Productivity Requirements

Productivity is used as an efficiency metric at Expressable, and it is dynamic based on the ebbs and flows of an SLPs caseload week to week. For example, during caseload building periods a caseload could be heavier on evaluations, while once built it may be more sessions and fewer evaluations. Because of that, Expressable has dynamic productivity expectations of 75-85% depending upon what a given week looks like.

An SLP is never scheduled past their scheduling limit which changes based on which scheduling/availability option they choose.

Qualifications

Skills And Competencies

Required skills and experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year of post-Clinical Fellowship experience
  • Experience in pediatric settings and conducting pediatric assessments
  • Proficiency with computer technology and ability to adapt to new tools independently
  • Experience working with insurance-based populations, such as Medicaid

 

Preferred skills and experience

  • Experience working in teletherapy settings similar to Expressable
  • Experience with adult clinical care and conducting adult assessments
  • Bilingual or multilingual capabilities (e.g., Spanish or other languages)
