Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech–Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school team. The SLP will assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders, helping them reach their full academic and social potential. This role involves working closely with educators, parents, and other support staff to create individualized treatment plans that support students' success.

Skills And Competencies

  • Strong diagnostic and assessment skills for speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing IEPs.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Knowledge of assistive technology and augmentative communication devices.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
  • Time management and organizational skills to balance multiple caseloads.
  • Collaboration and teamwork skills to work effectively with educators, parents, and other specialists.
  • Familiarity with federal and state regulations related to special education and speech services.
