Description
The Woolfolk Center for Language Disorders Research at The University of Texas at Austin is seeking a speech–language pathologist assessor. The Woolfolk Center conducts research projects and provides community support for individuals with language disorders and their families. The mission of the Woolfolk Center is to develop a clinical database of people across the lifespan with communication impairment. We aim to gather comprehensive profiles of individuals with communication impairment to support accurate diagnoses and better understand the commonalities and unique variability among different diagnoses.
The speech–language pathologist will assess individuals with language disorders across the lifespan on a battery of assessments related to language, behavior, and processing. Administer assessments with high fidelity and enter data collected into an online database. Score assessments and compose brief evaluation summary reports. Coordinate with school staff and families to schedule and complete assessments. Contact participating families to complete questionnaires.
