We’re a holistic, boutique-style pediatric private practice specializing in speech, feeding, and orofacial myofunctional therapy, and we’re looking for a passionate SLP who’s ready to love their work again.

Client Availability and Impact on Pay
1. When a client cancels, they can reschedule for later in the week or do a make-up session the following week. Clients have a limit of 3 cancellations per year. After that, the therapist will be compensated at half of their rate for any cancelled sessions.
2. Delays in building caseload are determined by the number of evaluations the therapist is willing to pick up per week.

Pay rate is determined by experience and whether the SLP has additional credentials in Orofacial Myology.

Schedule
SLPs may pick the days of the week that they want to work. We are open from 8am-6pm on Monday-Friday and therapists may choose their hours within that timeframe. They will, however, need to work with their clients' schedules to find times that work for everyone.

Skills And Competencies
We are looking for an SLP who has experience working with young children. Typical caseload includes traditional speech and language clients as well as picky eaters and children with myofunctional disorders. Myofunctional training will be offered during onboarding so there is no need to have current experience.

Training program: Mary Thomsen, the owner of Turning Tides, will provide 1-on-1 training during the onboarding phase of the job in any areas that the therapist feels weakest. She also provides 1-on-1 training in myofunctional therapy. Additionally, we will meet weekly for Q&As and I provide in-person session observations at least once per month.
