Schedule
Set schedule each week, but flexible in the creation of the schedule. We have standing clinical appointments, but some therapist choose to start their day at 7 am and end their day early for example. Clinic is open M–Th 8am–6pm and Friday 8am–noon (intake and billing are in the office), but within those days/times therapists can create a schedule that works for them.
Additional Work Hours
None that are required, we are a non-profit and do have volunteer opportunities for events but they are not required.
PTO
PTO is on a accrual basis, that starts on accruing on your first day. You are eligible to use PTO after 90 days. Accrual rate is dependent on number of hours worked (part time vs full time for example). In addition to PTO, you are given two sick days and 7 paid holidays. Requests for PTO are sent to manager who approves time off. PTO is typically always approved, the only time it will not be approved is when the max of 3 people requesting the same day off has been met. At that point, unpaid time off is allowed.
Holidays
We expect SLPs to be at 75% productivity. We do have quarterly financial incentives if therapists are over that threshold. If therapists are consistently under that threshold, then we will work with them to address attendance issues with patients/look at their schedule with them and offer assistance.
Productivity Requirements
SLPs are given 7 paid holidays (i.e. New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday, and Christmas Day)
Caseload Cap
Yes, depends on number of hours worked for the exact number, but for example a full time 40 hour therapist would see 35 patients and have 5 paid documentation/admin hours built into their schedule. Sessions are individualized and last for one hour.
