Description
Cayla Kurland Speech Pathology, Inc. is a small, growing pediatric private practice seeking a warm, motivated, and experienced speech-language pathologist to join our supportive and collaborative team.
We’re looking for a full-time SLP (or per diem) who enjoys having autonomy in planning therapy sessions and values teamwork and professional growth.
What You'll Do:
Provide one-on-one speech and language evaluations and therapy for children ages 12 months to 14 years.
Sessions are typically 50 minutes in length.
Work primarily in our West LA/Culver City clinic (experience with teletherapy is a plus).
Treat a wide range of speech and language needs including:
-Articulation & phonology
-Childhood apraxia of speech
-Fluency
-Receptive and expressive language
-Pragmatic/social communication
-Augmentative and alternative communication (AAC)

Client Availability and Impact on Pay
Pay is guaranteed salary regardless of cancellations. Clinicians are expected to manage their caseload schedule and handle rescheduling canceled sessions.

Schedule
Work schedule is M–F. Mondays are half days and clinicians are granted 3 hours of flex time each week where they can leave early, take a long lunch, or come in late, depending on their caseload for the day. Regular schedule is either 8am–5pm or 9am–6pm and may vary day-to-day.

12 PTO days per year, accrued at rate of 8 hours per month.
Holidays
Paid federal holidays include: New Years Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Day After Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
Productivity Requirements
Expected to complete approximately of 25–28 billable sessions per week. This typically includes a combination of evaluations and individual therapy sessions. Sessions are primarily 50 minutes in length and scheduled over a 4.5-day workweek
Billable Activities Include:
Direct therapy sessions (in-person or teletherapy), Speech and language evaluations.
Non-Billable Time Includes:
Documentation, report writing, planning, team meetings, parent consultations, and administrative tasks.
These are factored into the weekly schedule to support work-life balance and high-quality service delivery.
Caseload Cap
Caseload is capped at 30 sessions per week, and never more than 7 per day. There is protected paperwork time in the weekly schedule.
