Median Pay and Range
For full-time work (30–40 hours per week of both direct and indirect time), expect $50,000–$120,000/year.
However, we have many part-time people as well seeing just one or two clients per week, so the true range is much wider.
Depending upon the total desired client caseload, and where the therapist chooses to work, there could be a delay in reaching total desired caseload. However, there has been a backlog and most SLPs are at their goal within a few weeks. They can also request to be front loaded with clients prior to coming on board.

No. Payment is not made for canceled visits.
Pay Rate Determiners
If an SLP agrees to see on average 17 or more clients per week, the rate is $84/hr. If less than 17 per week on average, the rate is $79/hr.

Schedule
The provider can work with their clients to determine when they wish to have services provided. This can be morning, afternoon, evening and weekends. The provider is informed upfront if there are any schedule restrictions with the client. They do not need to take on the client if it does not work within their schedule.

The provider can choose with their clients if they want to work on holidays. There is no requirement to do so.

Training program: SLPs are provided a state run orientation of the early intervention program.
ASCB Therapy conducts an orientation immediately after the state orientation.
